so my brake saga continues. no more locking up of the caliper thankfully BUT now that i took everything apart and put it back on, i have a small leak between the hose and the hard line to the caliper. i cranked these on pretty damned tight but is there something else i should do? like teflon plumbing tape to get a nice seal? or will the brake fluid just eat right through the tape?

any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I wouldnt like my braking depending on some plumbers tape mate!
If its leaking, then somethings wrong-pull it apart, make sure its clean and have another go. Good Luck

yeah, you gotta good point. i had found some advice online where people talk about using a type of paste to help form a tight seal. but if you SHOULD be able to put it together without any additional tape or paste, i'd rather do it the right way.

i took it apart, cleaned the hardline again and cranked it back on. so far so good.
