how do i adjust the throttle linkage between the carbs on a 78?,,,i read something in the manual about taking one plug boot off and turning it untill it dies?

There is a screw on the linkage between the carbs. Its there to make an adjustment so that each carb has equal vacuum and therefore each carb is doing equal work............engine runs smoother.
