im missing the emblems....do i need them or can i fill that nasty dent in and paint it....???

No sir you do not need them you can just cover over but just remember if you powder coat the tank any bondo will crackout. Besides that it's up to you, besides the reproductions are kind of expensive and forget to try and get nos emblems way expensive

Yeah, take a small hammer and tap the ends of the emblem mounts in a little before you do it. I did my stock tank and it came out good
