I'm going to be putting in a new set of clutch spring, when I put it back together, should I use loctite? If so, red or blue?

Never have used loctite....need a hammer impact driver.....they are pretty cheap.......my old clutch has 54 thou and it slippped on heavy load.....I scratched the metal plates and just use 3 of mikes heavier springs and three of the originals and am real happy with the results......lever pulls a tad bit harder but not too bad.......think all 6 of the springs would have been overkill for my clutch problems and just put extra strain on everything else.......including me......
Painted the tops of the heavier springs with a different color paint so I could tell them apart later......

When I replaced my springs, I ordered 6 Barnett h/d springs, however only 5 arrived, no drama, 5 new ones and 1 old.
Clutch action is fine, maybe a little firm.
I dont recall using loctite, I dont often use it. I do however use never sieze on every bolt, nut, screw I touch, love the stuff!

No need for loctite as the tension from the springs should keep the bolts from backing out. Anti seize would be a good thing though.

And clutch spring screws will back out if not tight......had that happen on my RT1 and it trashed the side cover and put aluminum in the engine.....all from being without a hammer impact wrench when I assembled it...........
