[b]Hello to all at 650 rider. I'm BigGeorge from Springville NY. I'm an old Harley rider who spent his youth aboard a 650 Triumph in the 60s. Never owned a Japanese bike till a few weeks ago when I bought a 1981 xs650 and was going to turn around and sell it on e-bay for a profit. Well since then this bike has pried its way into my soul. Riding the bike takes me back to a time when things seemed so much simpler and I definately had more hair. I'm sure I will change things because I'm the type of guy who can never leave things as they are so I will be checking in here often for advice. Good site with good people. What more could I ask for....................BG

Jayel, You are so right about having a little variety in life. I belong to a Harley site where most of the people there refuse to accept anything other than Harley Davidson. There are many fine machines out there from many manufacturers so its refreshing to find a site like this where people dont have tunnel vision. As for the wife just give her the visa or master card. That always works for me....................BG

Hey Jimdi, Did it snow in Amherst today? Got a dusting here and the damn salters were out all night so gotta wait for a good rain to wash it all away.
Yea I already got a message from 5twins he lives close to me only a few miles down the road. I'm a transplant from the Tonawandas (Sheridan dr, Niag falls blvd area).....................BG

Welcome Big George. Seems to be sort of a melting pot around here. The old XS does sort of get under your skin huh? Riding mine reminds me its paid for! I love that sound too.
