I recently purchased an ignition from Probe Engineering for a 277 motor that I built as I wasn't happy with the way that it ran on the modified point plate, and I have to say I am very impressed with it, Mark has an excellent product! instructions were very easy to follow and installation was simple the bike started on the second kick (I always try with the chokes off first) He also makes them for the stock motors. He was a great product and I very highly recommend it, it is on the pricey side but I think worth every penny!!!

Still $279, right? I've been thinking real hard about the Probe. I'll be making a decision sometime between now and this summer. It's the only ignition system I know of that'll let me ditch the mechanical advance. Speaking of which, are you satisfied with the advance curve and the way it performs on your bike?

Best,

ichael

Yes, for the stock motors it's $279 for the rephased it's $379. the curve seems great and is adjustable it runs fine where it was preset from Probe when I have it on the dyno in the next week or two I plan on playing with that a little.
