The stock horn is really wimpy.

Anyone tried the FIAMM horns sold at the autop parts store? They look like a bolt-on to me.

Thanks,

Jim

Had a set on my CB750K. Nice and loud. Did some tuning on the horns on my Yammies, they're pretty loud when they're adjusted correctly. Friend of mine was bragging about the loud auto horn he'd just mounted on his V-star 1100. I said, "Let's hear it." He honked it and then I honked my stock SJ horn and it was louder! He was fit to be tied.

Gonzodog I put the FIAMM on my EX250 Ninja and it was bolt on, on that bike. Here is some info on it from the ninja forum. Bought it at Advance Auto for $15 and I like it fine.

Some user reviews on others that is a good read here.

I'm not sure which model mine was, but it came from Advanced Auto. Had to splice on the spade type connectors, It mounts to the plate that it came with, with a single bolt. Removed the plate and bolted it to the stock mount plate.
