I just had my first taste of running my blaster... A rear rim and a front hub got some treatment with a bit of black diamond in my new blasting cabinet, and I'm well stoked on how they came out!!

Are you planning on clearcoating or leave them naked?

Are the parts from a 75? what are you going to do with the rims. Polish or powder coat? I hade my rims powder coated.

this is all stuff from my '77. Going the powdercoat route on them, but need to get my other parts done first.

Cool. I powder coated my hubs and rims. I wanted to polish the rims but they were so corroded, it was not worth the effort. They came out good.
The guy who laced my wheels told me I should have taken the extra effort to polish the rims, it would have looked way better. Check out the Cafe' racer thread, "so it begins" to see my wheels. I like the look personaly.

I imagine you could lay down powder much smoother over a polished rim... I've got a polishing set sitting in the garage, so I'll give it a shot!
