they do. my bike has a suicide shift setup. i emailed them and asked about my bike even sent pics. and they said no. besides theyre quite expensive close to 300 for a set of straight pipes raw steel, no paint, no reducers.

Thats cheap enough. I am building my own and the pipe bends alone cost me $110.00 delivered to my door. now add a days work fitting and welding, then grinding and finishing to get a finish that is either chromeable or paintable you will have 10-20 hours work in. what does a good welder deserve a hour? Most in my area are making 20-30.00 per hour. Expensive I think not you get what you pay for. theres alot of shop expense in one off exhaust systems. If you want cheap buy mass produced pre builts in china.

true. but my problem still stands. ardcore choppers will not build a set of pipes for me. they have a set that runs down the center of the bike they will sell me. looks neat and all, but i want them to run along the bottom frame. because of my suicide shift setup they wont build a set without having the frame in hand. and understandably so.

i suppose i could just buy a welder and use my existing head pipes and teach myself!! i keep saying i want to learn how to weld. why not now?!
thanks roy.

sure but before you go off and waist money on expensive bends practice awhile on cheaper metals to get the knack of welding. most of the header companies offer the bends. you can buy a good 120 volt mig welder such as a miller or lincoln for around 500 bucks. get a gas model. You dont need argon unless your going to weld alluminum and stainless. a good co2 argon mix works well.

thanks for the advice. what would the harm be in using my existing headpipes and add the length i would need to get them around 34 inches

Go for it biff. Its been done before. besides if you mess them up what are you out. oh one peoblam are they stock??? If so they are 2 pipes one inside another and they are real restricted from the get go. use 1.5 " pipes for good flow.
