I'm getting back to the build i started last spring. It's been on hold for months. It's gonna be a hardtail bobber. I'm not sure on how much streach i should do because I am only 5'61/2" tall and my ankles are paralized so i can't extend them when using highway pegs. I will not be using a springer seat it will be a sadle (not sure if thats what its really called) type seat that sets at the front of the rear fender. So my question is how tall are you, how much streach is your bike, and how well do you reach the pegs. I guess i need to hear form the short people . I don't really want to do zero streach because i don't like the look as much. Truth is I'm not sure if i can still handle a bike, but I'm gonna give it a try. If it don't work out I'll just sell it. Thanks For Your Help MIKE

Did you ride the bike in stock form before, or another stock XS before starting your project? Are you talking frame stretch in the backbone, front frame legs or are you talking about forward control highway peg stretch?

I did not ride it in stock form. Years ago i owned a hardtail XS bobber but i did not build so i have no idea if length was added. It was a long time ago and before i got hurt. The strech I'm talking about is the hardtail strech. I've noticed that a person can buy a hardtail section from stock up to 5 inches. I was thinking 3 inches, but will i be able to reach?

I would go at leat 3" on the hardtail. XS's are pretty small framed MC's
