38/39mm oko/keihin carbs - any comments?

ive been offered a pair of brandnew 39mm (oko brand i think), round slides.
theyre not bad LOOKING carbs, but if theyll work or not i dont know.
im having issues with my old bs38's and cant get parts sent to the philippines (mainly as posted things go missing so much here!).
mikunis are not available here but the taiwanese carbs are. and theyre dirt cheap- about $60-70 ea. but i was told theyre a 39mm inlet.
here they use them on cr250 race m/x bikes.
any comments on using these carbs?
anyone tried doing this?

Ive got an OKO on my pit bike, my understanding is that they are chinese Mikuni's. I think you might have to mic them to be certain of the actual size because Ive heard they are usually smaller than what they are stamped.
