Finally bit the bullet and got a compressor. Lowe's had these on sale, and the folks on garagecentral.com seem to dig it as an affordable yet functional model. Finally getting my garage in order!

That's the way to go there.
It opens up an awful lot of doors for working on bikes and the like.
I need a new compressor myself. Mine leaks oil as well as having a holed tank, but it keeps tickin'. I used an oil/air trap and regulator gauge and it still shot paint without crud in it real nicely.
Enjoy that compressor.

I've been wanting one for the better part of a decade, but never had the space & money so all the work I've done on my cars and scoots has been manual so far. I'm definitely excited to build out the garage this winter!!

Looks like when you finally got one you got a good one. Mine suits me but its smaller and wont keep up with air grinders and such, which sucks, cause those tools save so much labor on polishing!

I decided if I was going to get one, I'd get one that could at least keep up with sand blasting and grinding work. As time goes on, I hope to try my hand at polishing, painting, and perhaps some powdercoating...

You can convert a 50# propane tank, if you need more volume, pretty cheaply.
