Hey guys,
Just a quick update. Got my plugs off the CNC router for my one-off tank and rear fender/cowling. Pretty stoaked. Next step will be finishing these then making the fiberglass molds. I'll be able to build the molds sturdy enough to get multiple parts out of them. Never hurts to have spares...
The inset on the rear fender is sized for the tail light lens off a '56 Chevy. Should look pretty mean when it's done.

Nice work, what is the material that you milled?
What software did you use to do the design work?

Gmaan,
Sorry for my slow reply.
The material is 8 lb polyurethane foam. Great stuff for milling and sculpting, though a bit pricey...
I drew the parts up using SolidWorks 2005.

What cam software did you use to mill it?

Gmaan,
Buddy of mine used MasterCAM to do the milling...
