I never really had a liking for the blacked out motor until yours. I really like the contrast. Have you any pictures of the motor up close and how did you get the motor and the cylinders black?Did you paint or coat or what? Looks great.

Dan, are those Mike's XS rear shocks? I have a set like those from mikes. They are STIFF! ( I weigh 180#) How are yours? On mine the spring hits the chain, so I'm thinking I'll turn them over.

Thanks, sorry it took so long to reply.
1982 uni air filter (no air box) exhaust reverse cone muffler added 6 in.
to head pipe with 10deg.bend progressive springs in front the gas charged
shocks are from mikes xs seat and tail are hot wingglass. the engine was painted with vht paint. the bike runs very strong,been running this for 2 years.
this year the motor was removed sent to bore-tech for a 750 big bore kit,
cam,head work,new mikuni carbs,and race clutch. hope to get around
60 something horse power. i will let you all know what the dyno run says.
if any of you are in the Cincinnati,Ohio area and would like to get together
let me know.
