Hi all, I have a 73 TX 650 that I am almost done restoring and I was going to change the fork oil today. The manual says drain oil out of the screw on the bottom of the fork, no prob there, but to refill it says take the cap bolt off the top of the fork I got a 22mm socket on there and both sides just turn and turn never getting any easier. Should I tighten the clamps around the bolt more? Or did I mess something up? I appreciate any help. Thanks

Is the fork tube turning? If it is, you can try tightening the clamps. If not, you may have stripped fork tubes.
