Where did you get the seat? Is it one of the ones sold by "1hotwing" on eBay for ~$200? If so, are you happy with it? Was it difficult to mount? I'll probably get one for my tracker project, and his cafe seat (a little less) for my other XS650 project.

Also, did you fabricate the side covers? Looks real nice, been thinking of doing similar (since stock ones don't look that great with the filters like you have, and it doesn't quite look right without them).

thanks! Real nice bike!

Seat, tail section and side covers all are from hotwingsglass.com
The seat required some fabrication, mostly a metal bracket needed to be made to go under the seat for the front mount.

Thanks

Hey Irish, I like your side covers, I have been looking for a set like that. you said you got them from Hotwings. I talked to David at Hotwings and he said he does not sell side covers. any idea where you got them.

Thanks xsthomas

I don't know now, I thought it was from hotwings. Really they would be easy to make if you could find some plastic the right thickness. Hhmmn< maybe I'll look into this and make some. I'll let you know.

Very cool ride. As mentioned before by TT , I really like the combination of stock color/parts and the aftermarket. They go well together.

Great bike Irish! I have a 75 same color scheme that im working on. Ive been studying these pics, they are inspiring. This bike looks fun to ride. As was already said a couple times- I like the combo of stock and aftermarket parts esp. the tank.
