Had so motivation yesterday. Acually uncover the bike and brought out the tool box. Got the new sporkets on,18t front and 30t rear, put new rear shoes on too, since I had the wheel off. Tryed the old chain for clerance, had to remove a bracket that did'nt really seem to anything, very close to the clutch push rod, but it'll be fine. Why does God hate me? Discovered the chain runs rite through my battery box. Chit, no big problem, just have to spin it side ways, cut the brackets and reweld them. This so called project is becoming more of a pain, one of those things I wish I'd never started.

Battery box..? usually the shift shaft is a rubbing problem......You will like the gears when you get used to them....Can actually go some where without stroking the chicken so hard.....God hates us so bad that's why he put us here and gave us these XS's to make things even worse.....

Thanks John
Thought maybe I was alone with this one. Do'nt tell me there could be more problems, I know one thing at a time.

Had to relieve the shift shaft below the chain on mine a bit....Not a biggie... Heard a bit of jingling sometimes and I knew it wasn't money in my pocket cause I spent it all......
