Question... I am building a hard tail and dont know if I should go with a spring seat since I am 6'-3" and 290lbs, I dont know if the springs will do me a bit of good? What do you guys think?

JP - check out in my picture gallery, I have a photo in there where I am using a monoshock off a mountain bike (which was a $3 score at my local bike shop). The spring is rated at 750#, but with the leverage set right, it is a cushy ride.....

That's an idea. I was talken to a buddy and he had the idea of buyen the 7" spring and put a chain from the frame to the seat to hold it at level with the ground when I am not sitting on it.
