A few months ago on ebay there was a guy from Wisconsin doing carb service (clean & tune) and now I dont see it, does any one know who this is or maybe he is on here? I have not done much with carbs and I dont know how good I will do with this project. Thanks!

I'm with xsjohn,most guys sell their self short when working on these 650's.If you have a manual and a little know how I believe you should give it a try.I mean if you get someone to put your kids toys together then you might not want to bother trying but it is half the fun of owning an older bike.Carb's you can usally find another set on ebay if needed or get an extra set to clean and set up.

It would be an awful hard product to deliver via Ebay. Way too many variables in the quality of carbs sent to you as well as another inviduals ability to install them properly, shipping, Etc. Plus the individuality of each motor. If you have some mechanical ability, take your time & follow the manual their not that difficult to do. Hell I've been succesful on a couple sets myself.

I guess you guys are right, I just have never done any thing with bike carbs. When I get to that point of the project I will let ya know how it goes. I still have a ways to go before I put the motor in and try to get it started.
