Help Sad , I need a starter pipe for my 82' XS650. Its leaking off the left carb right now. I checked all the dealers and they tell me they can't order one so its got to be a salvage item. The starter pipe (at least thats what its called in the parts list) is the upside down "T" gas line pipe that splits between the gas line from the tank to the two carbs on the 82'. The earlier models had seperate lines running to each carb. hummmmm why did they change????
Anyway the starter pipe has two raised lips on the sides that insert into the carbs and act as a seal. The inner lip on the left carb of my bike rotted away and now it leaks. Really hate to have a flame pop up between my legs one day so heres my plea..... Help!! If you got one that you can spare please drop me a line.
Thanks,
David

Mikes XS has the part you need for $15....

his part # is Part #48-0884....

the link to his web page is www.mikesxs.net/mikesx...ory_id=4.1

He does great business....I highly recommend him...have used him several times....THe's real fast, real affordable, and has almost anything you need for you XS. Tell him Jeff Schooler from Devils Lake sent you...maybe he'll send me a cap or something.
