Americade anyone

Is anyone planning on going to Americade? and on a 650? I about lost what is left of my hearing the first time I went, but then last year I went early in the week and left before all the too loud bikes showed up. I had a good time despite the rain. I'm planning on riding my '81H and I'd like to run into a couple of other 650s up there. whynot2 (650's of course!)

Don't know for sure as of yet,but if i go I'll look up this topic before hand and let you know.Been there about a dozen times over the last 20 years this is one of the best ralley's going.We usally arive on Sat. even though it's not officaly started, there is plenty to see and do.Riding up in that area is some of the best you will find.Stick a pin in lake george on the map attach a lenght of string equal to 200 miles draw a 1/2 circle to the north and you can't go wrong with any ride in that 1/2 circle.Leave in the morning back by night.If you want it as peaceful as it gets leave by Thursday if you don't mind a FEW more people stick around for the fireworks and awards dinner friday night you will not be sorry.I always tell people i would take my grand childern to Americade as far as ralley's go this is as good as it gets in motorcycling.P S Make sure you check out the semenar's and try to get on one of the dinner criuse's,and pickup those ride routes at the ranch.
