Hello. I joined this forum about 2 years ago and posted a couple times. I have an 80 XS 650 tracker. I have a picture of it somewhere on this site, I think.
Well, you know how life comes at you hard sometimes and you change your priorities? That's kinda what happened to me. I rode my bike about 4 miles last year and parked it. It sat all summer without moving. I retired from my job and just kinda put riding on the back burner for a while.
Today the sun came out so I shuffled out to the barn and started to look at what was once my pride & joy. I decided it was time to get going again. I started pulling it apart for a rigid project I have always wanted to do. It now is all apart except for the motor & front end. I am gonna pull it the rest of the way apart this weekend and get the grinders out and start chopping the crap out of it.
Anyway, I am going to wind up with a few pretty good extra parts. If anyone is interested in an Omar seat/fender pan & half mile pipes give me a shout. I am gonna have some other stuff too. I have an 18" spoke wheel (73 XS) with an almost new 120-90 x 18 street tire to go too. I had to make some spacers to get it to fit the 80 swing arm but that's done. It will need a sprocket tho. Chrome, spokes and brakes are good. Also have a good stock tank with vacuum petcock. Tank is clean and painted yellow as is the fender. The fender has some B&W graphics. If you are interested in any of this stuff just post here. My e-mail address is out of date and I can't figure how to change it. You could also e-mail me at kebmoe @ gmail.com .

Welcome back and enjoy the journey. I like it as a tracker.
