I can't beleive I just found this site. I have been building a racer for the past few months. I have a ton of work into the frame so far. All the fabricating was done by me, with a little welding farmed out. Progress has been very slow, but worth it! I have acutally changed out the forks from the ones in the pics. I am going to build a custom girder!

p/s anyone have a rear drum wheel for trade/sale? I have an 18" front in great condition to trade you. I am looking for the Alum. ones from the early 70's with the flat sides, or any yamaha drum break front end.

Is there any stock frame left or is it all custom?

Just uploaded a bunch of pics to my gallery. The frame is all custom except for the rear motor mount piece of tubing! I started out with a lot more stock tube, and it just got difficult. Much easier to just start from scratch. I built a tubing bender, bought some tube and away I went. Oh yeah, and before any of you frame guys jump on my case, there is a HUGE neck gussett going in there. Very Happy

Just got a '74 to get a racer project started myself. Thanx for the inspiration! I look forward to more as you go along...
