Thanks for all the leads guys. I just got a set of cheapies for now. Its hard to justify 240 bucks for a set of pipes when you only paid 250 for the bike.
Well thats going to get harder and harder to do when there worth $175.00 for scrap right now today. My friend just bought one from a scrap yard, when he pulled up as a scrapper was just weighing out a 78 standard which the yard paid the scrapper $175.00. my friend paid what the yard gets for scrap $210.00.
Note just cause you buy them cheap occasionally don't mean that there not worth putting money into. Now you got a deal. When you stop and think about it a professional mt bike is $3500.00 and up. why wouldn't a motorized bike be worth more. so if you paid 250 and had to put in 240 your still only 490.00 for a road riding bike thats cheap. Justifiable I think so, whats not justifiable is the sellers brains.

My bike was a freebie so anything I buy for it cost more than it did Smile

Going back to the early part of this thread .... I used to drive this full dress BMW with REALLY quiet mufflers and a giant white Windjammer fairing on the front. You would think people would see me even though they didn't hear me coming but I got cut off more on that bike than any other I've ever owned. At the same time I also had a 500 Kawasaki triple with expansion chambers. I NEVER got cut off on that bike.
