so i ordered 7 friction plates from Mikes XS. when i opened up the primary side i only counted 6 friction plates. the inner metal plate is held by a retainer wire. i took that off and put in the friction plate in its place and all of them fit. but then when i rode it its VERY hard to shift and makes a noise when the clutch is pulled in. also, finding neutral is damn near impossible. so i took it back apart and put the metal plate and wire back in place. but before putting back together i want to know whats up. the bike is a 78. thanks
