When taking apart the oil filters on my '82 special, i found a little metal ball loose inside. This is NOT the ball located inside the bolt on the side filter, this one is a bit bigger. I am 99% sure this thing fell out of the sump filter cover when I removed it.
I have no idea where this goes and I can't find it in any exploded diagram in the repair manual. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

- as far as im aware there are only 3 separate balls in the motor
- in the kickstart lever...1/16"
- in the top oil filter bolt...1/4"
- in the clutch rod...5/16"
