Guys, when trying to readjust the clutch cable I broke the housing that supports the wiring going into the clutch switch. First, if this switch is connected to the sidestand switch and starter cutoff relay (which I'm not using either one), will this need to be hooked up or can I just throw it out???

Thanks in advance.

Rich

hey rich, some may agree and some may not. but i run a stripper and by that i mean i have tires, tank, motor and frame. no relays, solenoids or any thing. the only wires are to my headlight, tail light, ignition, and charging system. so no you don't need them. now i'm sure someone will say they are there for OUR "safety" but a little common sense goes a long way. and if your not using them anyway rip em' out. just my two cent, spend it how you want Very Happy

I'm not sure how the switch is wired in. You may be able to just unplug it and be ok or you may have to jumper the wires together. Either way losing the switch is no biggie.

the red/white and black/white at the side stand relay have to be connected , then the relay and the side stand switch can be eliminated
