So the other day took the 650 out for a ride in 100 degree weather. Rode about 100 miles the hardest I have on her (trying to keep up with buddy's Ducati 696 and Yamaha FZ6). Rode hard at 100+ mph until stop sign where it stalled. Not sure why but kicked right back up. Got it home and it sat for a week, and when i went to ride it yesterday tried to kick start and even though neutral light was on, bike was "in gear" and rear wheel was spinning when I tried to kick. When I tried to manipulate the shifter it would not click through gears. Stumped as the clutch cable is working fine. Seized/overheated clutch plates? Burnt out tranny? Any ideas?

Did you try moving the rear wheel while trying to shift? I know mine doesn't like to shift while being static.
