Anyone out there know if Mag Wheels of a 78 will work ok on my 79 Special? Thanks in advance for any info.

Most all the years will swap out. Spoke or mag. Easier if they both have the same brakes.

Thanks for the info. I managed to pick up a pair from a 78 that just need a little refinishing.

I just hopped on and saw this thread was gonna trade someone my mags. Ive got a set of mags off a 78 Special with real nice back tire and newer front. I need a spoked wheel for the front and a lil cash. If interested. jmstrand @ yahoo.com
