What kind of FWC's are you using?

Home made? Scavanged? What?

Is anybody using the TC Bros. Choppers FWC's?

How would you rate your controls?

Does your linkage go over or under the side covers?

Is anybody using the TC Bros. Choppers FWC's?

I'm actually wanting to add FWC's to my Stock '77 D model.
My legs get too cramped. I'm 6'1".

How about some feed back?

Thanks,

RW
I built my own. If you click my gallery link at bottom "check out my gallery" you will see them. It really wasn't too hard and I am happy with how they turned out. I posted how I made them here.

For me it was a combination of I didn't want to spend the money and I wanted to do it myself since I enjoy fabricating things like that.

Good luck

Calicruiser,

They look awesome and the price is nice.

I need bolt ons. I'm no welder.

Thanks,

Do they function well?

Would you buy those controls again?

I used TC Bros on mine, I am 6'2" tall and felt the same way you do... The problem I ran into was when I got on the brake too hard the petals flexed pretty bad. I had to weld a bar between the 2 bolt on sections to firm them up. They work great now but without the extra support I could see very bad things happening...

darrenlindy78,
I looked at your gallery and you have a very nice bike there. Have you had any issues with the pedal mounts flexing? A support between the 2 mounts seems like a good idea.

s008ess,
The flexing is one of my concerns too. I looked at your gallery but don't see any pics with the controls mounted. Would love to see a pic of the reinforcement bar.

Still undecided. Will make up my mind in the off season this winter.

I used T/C bros. controls and they are great but I had to also put a brace in the middle of the 2. I just used a pipe in the middle with a bolt tru everything.

Im using forward controls that are completely 100% Custom made.

Linkage goes underneath the side covers on both sides.

The end of the Footpegs were a thick rusty washer that i kept builing on with weld and then smoothed down to give a dome effect.

I'll upload photos
