I'm installing a set of clip ons onto a '73 with standard 34mm forks. I'd love to replace the top triple clamp with one that doesn't have the holes for the rubber handlebar mounts. Furthermore, I'd like a flat triple clamp, not stepping down at the forks. This will make it cleaner to drop the front end for better handling (i've got a hydraulic damper). Anybody know of a triple clamp from another bike that fits? Thanks

Just an idea. Mines got engine core plugs knocked up from the bottom to fill the holes, then painted black, works for me!
A nice billet one would be pretty trick! no doubt a bit pricey!
