I HAVE A 78 650 SPECIAL WITH EXTENDED FORK TUBES AND SHORT REAR SHOCKS. MY PROBLEM IS THAT THE CHAIN STREATCHES ABOUT EVERY TIME I RIDE IT SO I'M THINKING OF HARD-TAILING THE FRAME. DOES THE HARD TAIL REAR SECTION REPLACE THE PART OF THE FRAME WITH THE REAR MASTER CYLINDER? (I HAVE REAR DISK).

sure, do you know if ardcore sells the hardtail as it's own weld-on piece? I see they have the service offered for $500, but shipping my frame isn't an option (Canada).

Nope we do not sell a DIY weld on hardtail..too much liability.

we have discussed selling them to the overseas market but we are still up n the air on it..We are making a ton of changes for 09 so that may be one of them but they still won't be sold domesticly.
