Seats

Hi,does anyone know what the choices of seats are out there.I have a 83 heritage special,and I would really like to get different seat but I can't find any.The only ones I keep running into are the stock ones or stock covers.Do any other model bike seats fit this bike.Thanks,Darrin

Have you looked at the early version style seats? You'll most likely need to relocate the mounting brackets but they definately have the classical vintage look over what ya have now..............Jack

the easy chair seats are cool at 650central.com , nice guy to deal with too, I got some stuff from him, you have to email or call him on the phone to get stuff , but good service.

Send your seat pan to CORBIN or SARGENT. They'll make you anything you want. I have a SARGENT seat on my XS1100SG and I am well pleased with it. I'm going to send them a 650 seat pan one of these days. I want the passenger pillion shortened.

Mike's XS has a brand new seat to fit your bike for $100. You can't beat that deal with a stick!

Did they replace any of the old foam with their high tech foam?

Yes. They used their high tech foam, front and back. My backside hurts after sitting all day, but I CAN sit on it all day. Compared to stock, it's fantastic! I like the GRIPTEX too.
