650 Rider went offline for about a month at the beginning of 2010. In order to save the technical information that was here, XS650.com acquired the site and brought it back online as a read-only archive. If you were a member of 650 Rider, you will need to re-register at XS650.com

Hi...just found this site while googling xs650 forum. Looks like a good place for info.

Have owned 3 xs650s...a new '75 while living in Japan, a '76 while in Florida, and a '79 Special here in Omaha.

Riding a GL1800 right now. Wife loves the back seat. haha. But want to get another xs650 for solo riding. Lots of gears turning...will be soaking up what info I can.

I am orginally from Sioux City (just north of Omaha) - Came to Buffalo NY in 1985 - and brought my 81 Special with me -
Still have it - still love it!
