Yikes, these things happen to me.
I just got a xs 650 and have been enjoying it. I plan on doing all my own maint work, however, as luck has it, before my book has arrived I find myself in need of some help!

I'll spare the details, but I broke a spark plug and wire.

What spark plug do I need and what is the gap?
Is there anything else I should know before I fix this?

I've only worked on cars before and nothing this old, it's a '79. I am worried about doing more harm than good w/o specifications in front of me.
Or is there a good website that has this information?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Champion N-7Y or NGK BP7ES gap of .028/.031 inches or .7/.8 mm, hope it helps Karl btw 14fps torque for tightening if you use a torque wrench
