Looking for 2 intakes for my xs650 built. Would love to find some with an offset to them to kick them out some.
Do you guys know where I can find these?
Thanks in advance

i like the way they set the carbs in line with the frame. the longer path may give better cylinder fill, better performance.

Possibly in the low end, a torque gain too if the fuel stays attomised and does not group and go to droplets, I dont know how well a curved manifold would work, the starght ones are great for low end torque.

Don't you NEED to turn out the carbs on a hard tail conversion or drop seat softail? It seems to me that there is almost no room for them other wise. I am a newb though and could be very wrong

that depends on your frame. if you get a stock frame modified, probably. if you have a frame custom made or make your own, depends on what you and / or your builder decide.

I will be using the stock frame with the seat tubes cut and dropped down with the shock tower tubes left in original locations and all welded back up. I will be dropping the battery down out of the way and will need, according to what I can see, to kick the carbs out a bit, especially with some cone filters on them. My dad is going to come over sometime, after I get my garage heated, -15 doesn't make working very much fun, and we will do some real planning for sure.

I've seen some 40 degree turned out intakes advertised by a place called G&L choppers. He has a bike pictured on 650motorcylces website. If you go to Google and type in G&L choppers you can see the intakes on a bike. If still in business, I believe he makes the type of intakes you are looking for.
