is there anything in particular I should keep in mind when installing daytona bars? I'd like to mount them inverted, to get a bit of a drop but not something as much as clubmans...

Take care routing the clutch cable. If you bind it up at all, the clutch lever will be very, very hard to pull in. If you're installing a new clutch cable, oil it first. Many of the new ones come totally dry, in particular, the ones from MikesXS. Even though they appear to operate smoothly when unmounted, as soon as you hook them up and put a load on them, they'll bind right up if not oiled.
