HELP! I'm new to this site and have just started building a bobber out of a '81 specialII. I have fabricated and installed a hardtail rear frame section and am currentlyremoving everything else that's not necessary.Being an ironworker/fabricator that is the easy part. Now comes the hard part, thinning out any excess electrical components and wiring. What has to stay to do basic functions? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a bare bones bobber/chopper?Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Steve

While we're on the subject of electrics,is there a smaller(dimension wise) battery that can be substituted for the rather large stock xs650 unit ? I'm trying to cut weight but more important is the room they take up! Thanks,Steve p.s. great site!I'm already enjoying it.
