Crankcase breathers

I was looking over my bike this weekend and realized that it does not have any crankcase breathers. I read the few posts on them but would like to get some opinions/feedback about the diff options out there.

I am running pod filters and do not wish to convert to stock airbox.

ikes sells a pcv valve and simple breather filters. I also read about using the power brake check valve from advanced auto.

I basically wanna know what you guys are using and how well it works.

In my case, on my '73 with a dual spigot breather box, I have one side plugged, and am using a Mike's reed valve on the other side. That's not a pcv valve, which would not be able to oscillate fast enough at higher rpm. Present indications are that the valve has allowed me to create a slight vacuum in my crankcase and help control or eliminate a persistent leak. In light of the current indications, that's what I'd recommend to anyone who asks.
