Hello fello members. I am in the process of putting a 1978 Standard back on the road. I also have a 1976 Standard that needs some work. My painting of my tank and side covers will be picked up Saturday. I still have to finish my wiring, frame powdered coating, new spokes and polish the rims. Thanks for a great site TC[b]

I really do not have anything to post now. I have been working with Mr. Riggs with my $19 electronic ignition. I did get some welding done on my stock headers with Pamco Pete's idea of adapters for the inner pipe. I am preparing them for ceramic coating and a set of glasspack short mufflers. Also my painting of my tank and side covers should be ready Saturday. If so I will mock something up and take photos with the ugly gold frame and rusty spokes. I am waiting for an insurance settlement to complete my bike. I am not sure that I am going with 750cc or 707 and maybe 270 degree crank. I do all of my work but do not have the equipment to re-assymble a crankshaft. If I go 270 I will purchase one allready built. I am also considering the British mufflers from Mike's XS. Thanks TC
