Good luck!

Good luck. Keep us posted. If you are going through South Dakota drop me a line if you need a garage and some tools. I also have a few spares. South Dakota is just about half between Seattle and Indianapolis. I am about 2 miles off I-90.
Georelle.

Yeah Lets set up a network, I am just off I94 35 miles north of Madison WI with a modest collection of spares, a van and a ramp if needed. 608-434-2715 Gary

Well, here's the anticlimactic ending.
As it turned out, the bike was in nowhere near the condition advertised. It wasn't even a runner. Not worth the money or the time. I didn't use a baseball bat, but that was because I was coming back from the races and in a pretty good mood.
This guy figured someone would ship it, and be stuck with it whatever condition it was in.
Good news update: found a 1980 in Oregon for less money and in excellent shape. It has a God-awful but good condition king/queen seat and sissy bar ( anyone here building an old-school chopper? ) and actually starts every time with the electric starter. All's well that ends well...
