I recently came across an early(1972 as far as I can tell) XS650 and decided that it was time for me to build a bike. I have a bunch of mechanical experience having built some muscle cars and hot rods not to mention a few Vespa's.
I currently ride a Suzuki VX800 that is probably going to go away as this project moves on.

welcome billie; 72 project?? seems I have one of those projects here too. maybe we will complete them and meet on the road someday.
