1973 tx650. the screws that hold down the gauge face (behind the glass)are rattlling out slowly- the gauge also makes noise- but very little. are these gauges rebuildable??? i also have a spare but its not quite in as good of condition.

I carefully cut a slit with hand hack saw in the metal trim that holds the cover and took it off to get to those screws. The procedure is here some ware check the vault, someone came up with putting 4" heat shrink tube around the metal trim when everything is back together .

ok sweet deal- i kind of want to change the look of my faces while im at it- they look faded- they are like a faded green color and at night they have a tealish glow. is that how they were factory?
