Can I bore out the stock jets to run straight pipes? And if so, what size does the hole have to be?

no one can tell you the anwser to that, it depends on your pipes, your airfilters, and then what your plugs look like, then you figure out your jetting

Thanks for all the help however, I got ahold of some stock exhaust. Running much better now. Still have some issues though. There is a rythmic misfire as I accelerate. And some backfiring when I let off the gas.

Go to the "Vault" forum and look under "Carbs"..............carb tuning from 650garage web site. Read it 2 or 3 times.

You'll need to richen up the fuel mixture with those straight pipes.
