The bike is trying to test me again..

get this weird problem..

Bike blows the headlight fuse.. I duno why.. headlight tests ok.

Replace fuse.. lights up and works fine.. tap the brakes and the headlight fuse blew .. WTF? also 1 of the 2 tail light bulbs are out.

move the key to park (with the fuse still blown) and the headlight turns on with a dull glow..

pull the bad tail light bulb.. looks ok.. tests fine in socket 1.. no life in the 2nd socket.. swap bulbs.. same thing.. Good bulbs, bad socket.

I left that socket empty, replaced the headlight fuse (last one) and it's all find and happy now..

ore testing to do I guess plus I gota order new fuses from MikesXS. Nobody around here stocks the little 25mm jobs.

I figure it's got to be a short from the running light side of the tail light socket.

1. back feeding thru the headlight check the ground wire to the tail lights
2. check those wires
3. good reason to change fuses to automotive ATC/ATO blade type
4. Oh a wise guy huh? nyuck, nyuck, nyuck... think you're right
