I want to put in a switch so I can turn off the headlight;Which wire do I splice in to? This is a 1981 special.

On the right side of the bike you will fine the safety relay. It has 6 wires coloured as; yellow, black, red/white, red/white, blue/black, and red/yellow.
The switch would have to be placed into the blue/black or the red/yellow.
