Just want to say I have just fitted new calipers , floating discs , braided lines , master cylinder from Mikes XS and I am very happy with their products . Just received the complete 750 kit from them , looks good to.
A big thankyou to Mikes XS for ease of ordering and quick shipment to Australia. Any ideas when performance rods will be available Mike ?
Look forward to doing bussiness with you in the future.

Performance Rod kits are on way from Japan now. ETA 3 weeks.
We are almost sold out of Big Bore kits, about 5 left out of first production of 512 kits so if anyone else needs/wants one, act Now.
It's good to deal with you Aussies. I never get complains from down under about " you didn't send instructions how to install the grips " or other such trivial nonsense. Seems like the old days here (60's & 70's)
when every rider had a bit of do it yourself knowledge and the mechanically challenged were rare. Thankyou.

Hey Mike please keep me a performance rod kit to suit 447 motor as I will need them , just pm me when they arrive mate. . Do your cams perform like the Shell No.1 grind ? What about a performance head , I reckon you would sell a few of them.

500 sets of performance rods coming in soon.
I have never seen the dyno figures on Shell products, there is a big difference between parts made for wide open track use verses street performance. Cylinder heads would be no problem but I have doubts about demand since these new expensive ones have already been sold off thru 650 central, I could easily have run them for about a third of the price. Once again it would be nice to see how the power plotted out and how streetable they were ( If there is anyone out there who has one I would like to hear your comments on the results ). I have had a couple of OW racing heads in my hands before and would like to see what the weeks heads look like.

Mike I'm an American and have ordered $100's of parts from you.In fact if it wasn't for you I would be riding a honda or a harley, but I've never complained about anything I've ordered, nor have a bothered you with as much as 1 question so don't put us all in the "I need instructions for my grip installation" category.

Mike:
When do you expect the next shipment of seats to come in? The last we heard was summer, can you be more specific?
(do they come with instructions?)

DMP: There are legions of the helpless. Quantities of stupid questions get worse as time goes on but I guess that's times a changin. I was just saying that it's good to know that there is a place in the world where things are still like the old days. Maybe it's the Aussie independence and the fact that they have to make do with what they have sometimes so the make the best of it and figure it out. I'm not saying no one in North America knows how to do anything anymore but it's sure heading that way. When you get loads of kids leaving school without knowing how to count or spell or read never having been shown or learned the basics and can't figure out anything it's getting bad. I guess the problem could be the XS is something crude that you can repair when all people know now is how to discard and buy new. Good if you got lots of cash but I fear for the survival of the current generation if the economic bottom really falls out.
Good chance it may go that way. The hole that's been dug has not been filled in, won't be for years and things may still really let go.

Hi Guys,
Well, I haven't gotten my 1st overbore pistons from Mike yet....but I just ordered them, and I immediately got a tracking number, and a follow-up confirmation, and I bet they arrive any day now.....and the bill was $154.00 so the shipping was free!
Free is good.....
So just as soon as I get the oversize pistons, I'll have the bore job done and reassemble my '77---my main ride and the sidecar bike---and, with help from MikesXS, I will be doing all of the assembly myself, so there! (Said the Little Red Hen....)
BTW, I'm with Mike about the Aussies....sort of like Americans without the burden of P.C. Too bad they don't have a Second Amendment......guess I'll stick with the good old USA.....
And my faithful XS650, of course.

You got that right Babs, PC will be our downfall. If the founding fathers had excercised PC we would be still be kissing the Queen's behind and Starbucks would be selling tea for $6.00 a cup!

How about charging shipping on all US orders and use this to decrease the shipping cost for all us Aussies!!!!!!!
PS this is posted as a 'tongue in cheek' comment. no disrespect to anyone is meant and no further communication will be entered into!!!
y Mikes XS orders arrive in about 5 or 6 working days,it takes this long to get something from one side of Aus to the other at times!!!
