Just got a new sportster Ironhead tank. Looking for a new gas cap and petcock. Anyone have these laying around?

what year is it? Does the tank take a screw in type (looks like a car one almost) or like a flat cap with the metal rectangle on the underside?

It's a seventies model, flat cap w/ metal rectangle. The cap is similar to the ones Honda used to use too but different size. Push and half turn locks it in.

gotcha. sorry cant help ya there. Howver if you do find a store online or something that sells em cheap let me know. I found one through google but i guess the store was being shut down.
