I'm looking for saddlebag supports for my 1980 XS650 Special. I'm not finding any. Any one else have an idea where I might look? I've been to the big online stores without any luck.

darn they just don't make aftermarket stuff for thirty year old motorcycles like they should Laughing you'll probably need to make your own unless you find something on E-bay, here's what I did for this Honda for a set of soft bags, similar setup on my 650 with bags bolt to straps and a bar acrossed the back to keep them spaced

Yes, what's up with that? 30 is still young. Wish I was 30 again. I might have to experiment like you. Thanks for the idea.

Here is an option I found on eBay.

It doesn't look as solid as Jayel's, but it'll probably work until you come up with something of your own design.
