may be some of you elecrical guru can help me here.have a 1975 that i took the tack and the speedo off ,wires just hanging there will the bike bharge like this i removed the complete cluster assemble.

and any body here from nys near kingston ny
that can help me out with the electrical system

No it won't charge like that, you need to get juice to the lead that also lights up your neutral switch light, this gets the stator excited, it will be a brown wire...in fact in order for it to run you will need juice to 2 brown wires, one is the coil, the other that neutral switch.stator excitor there is a thrid brown wire that is the brake light switch as well............... good luck
